HORSESHOE BAY FARMS MASTER PLAN

In early 2019, Horseshoe Bay Farms, Inc. began the process of developing the long-term master planning process for this important Door County civic landmark. Following an exhaustive selection process, Ten X Ten was tasked to lead a multidisciplinary design team, including a team of expert consultants - AWH Architects and Wigen Consulting.

In consultation with local stakeholders and informed through public input, the Master Plan was developed throughout 2019 and completed in early 2020. The plan identifies strategies for the continued preservation and rehabilitation of the Farm for a sustained future. The plan also proposes a road map for unique programs and reactivation so that Horseshoe Bay Farms can once again serve as a vital community space. HSBF, Inc. formally adopted the full master plan in July 2020.

HSBF is already in the process of implementing the Master Plan. Though 2020 has been marked with the COVID pandemic, we are still working hard to grow our gardening operation, getting the Farm Homes in living condition, and making improvements to the landscape and historic infrastructure.
