Constructed with terrazzo floors, walls and a tin ceiling, the Creamery was designed to be hosed down each day after collecting the farm’s milk yield. While we did not pasteurize our dairy on site, the milk was stored in tanks that were then transferred into smaller containers as seen in the Creamery today. Also, in the corner of the building near the door, you can see the remaining base of one of our 8 silos that were once at Horseshoe Bay Farms.
